You will walk along forest roads and trails past the LLU Horse Breeding Training Centre “Mu\u0161\u0137i” to the goat farm “L\u012bc\u012b\u0161i”, where you will have an excursion with goat milk and cheese tasting, and then boat back along the Misa and Iecava rivers to the starting point of the hike.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this section, Misa is interesting and exciting, with green, overgrown shores that, as you approach Ozolnieki, gradually change to more residential development. The fortifications of Napoleonic times – the Silgrau\u017eu skansts – are hidden on the shore at the mouth of the Misa river in Iecava river. The Misa river twists and turns and invites you to come with it!<\/span><\/p>\n

\n1) The route is easy, with very little current, suitable for beginners and families with children.
