Join the boat trip on the M\u0113mele river in the section near Skaistkalne!
<\/strong><\/p>\n

The trip will start just above Skaistkalne, and we will paddle down to the \u0100ne – M\u0113mele manor park.
The M\u0113mele river in this section is a border river\u2014on one bank is Latvia, and on the other is Lithuania!<\/p>\n

The trip is scenic, peaceful, and offers an opportunity to explore the rich diversity of Latvia’s aquatic flora.
Water plants and reeds will be a constant companion in the river during the summer, however, they do not hinder paddling in this section.<\/p>\n

The M\u0113mele river is one of the rare navigable rivers (by boat) in Zemgale, Aug\u0161zeme, and S\u0113lija regions.
Thanks to its status as a border river, it has been spared the fate of the nearby Dienvidsus\u0113ja river and has not been exploited by small hydropower plants.

Difficulty level: The route is easy, with a gentle current, no fallen trees, and some aquatic plants in the river that do not interfere with boating. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 After registration you will receive a confirmation email<\/em>, but no later than the day before the trip
(by 12:00), you will receive detailed trip information.<\/strong> (Don\u2019t forget to check your spam folder!)
\n\u2013 The trip may be canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions or if fewer than 4 boats have registered.
\n\u2013 You must bring your passport or ID card with you. <\/strong>
\n\u2013 The price includes transportation for drivers (1 driver\/person per boat).
\n\u2013 After the finish, you can have a picnic; snacks and drinks must be provided by yourself.<\/p>\n

Registration is recommended at least 48 hours before the trip.<\/strong> Why? So we can plan the total number of boats and the required equipment.
