We invite you to embark on one of the most beautiful and popular canoeing routes in Latvia<\/strong> \u2013 from C\u0113sis to L\u012bgatne, through the picturesque Gauja river gorge and the Gauja National park.<\/p>\n

Why choose this route?<\/strong>
\u2714\ufe0f The most popular section<\/strong> \u2013 this scenic route is suitable for both experienced paddlers and beginners.
\u2714\ufe0f A rich variety of sights<\/strong> \u2013 Bried\u012b\u0161i, Vecupe, Edernieki, Leima\u0146i, and Spri\u0146\u0123i cliffs, as well as the impressive \u0136\u016b\u0137i cliff.
\u2714\ufe0f An adventure with rapids<\/strong> \u2013 experienced paddlers can navigate them by boat, while others can safely bypass them along the shore.<\/p>\n

The route\u2019s length is easily manageable within a day, but the experience stays with you much longer \u2013 the beauty of nature, cliffs, water, and forests create an exciting journey through the natural treasures of Latvia.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfc1 Finish \u2013 L\u012bgatne ferry crossing<\/strong>, where after the trip you can continue exploring the L\u012bgatne nature trails and end the day with a walk in nature.<\/p>\n

Typically, our public trips are in Zemgale and Riga region, but we also enjoy going further afield from time to time or experiencing some of Latvia’s classic canoeing routes! If you don’t want to think, plan, or search for yourself but want to enjoy the Gauja\u2014join us for a canoe trip! <\/em><\/p>\n

Difficulty level: the route is easy, with a gentle current and a few rapids (depending on your experience \u2013 either paddle through or bypass them along the shore).<\/p>\n

Good to know!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 After registration you will receive a confirmation email<\/em>, but no later than the day before the trip
\n(by 12:00), you will receive detailed trip information.<\/strong> (Don\u2019t forget to check your spam folder!)
\n\u2013 One rest stop is planned at a designated rest area.
\n\u2013 The trip may be canceled due to bad weather conditions or if fewer than 5 boats have registered.
\n\u2013 An escort boat accompanies the trip
\n\u2013 The price includes transportation for drivers (1 driver\/person per boat).<\/p>\n

Registration is recommended at least 48 hours before the trip.<\/strong> Why? So we can plan the total number of boats and the required equipment.
\nIf you want to register at the last minute, it’s best to contact us!<\/p>\n

IF I HAVE REGISTERED, BUT CANNOT ATTEND?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If, due to various circumstances, you cannot make it to the trip:<\/p>\n

– you can swap it for another trip<\/u> on one of the available dates if you notify us at least 48 hours before the trip;
\n– if less than 48 hours remain before the trip or if you do not show up, the option to reschedule to another date<\/u> is lost!<\/p>\n
