Lielā Jugla
The Lielā Jugla river originates in the Sigulda district, on the side of Mālpils, and flows through the Ropaži district, merging with the Mazā Jugla to form the Jugla river. Along the stretch from Zaķumuiža, the Lielā Jugla takes boaters through winding bends, passing by the private houses of the Riga region surrounded by overgrown forest masses. The water in the river is relatively clear, allowing for the observation of waterfowl, fish, and fallen trees along the banks, which form interesting structures.
