Mēmele
The Mēmele river, called Nemunėle in the territory of Lithuania, is a river in Lithuania and Latvia with a length of 191 km (40 km in Latvia). It originates in Lithuania near Rokiškis. Over a distance of 76 km, it flows along the Latvia-Lithuania border. In Bauska, the Mēmele merges with the Mūsa river to form the Lielupe.
The Mēmele river is navigable from early spring to late autumn, or until the river is covered with ice.
Our regular route is near the city of Bauska, but it is possible to arrange trips further up the river, near Skaistkalne.
