Description
The confluence of the Iecava river into the Lielupe river is special – in the distance you can see the landscape of Jelgava, on the opposite shore the end of Pilssala and the confluence of the Driksa river into the Lielupe river, and to the west – the expanses of Zemgale, where you can watch the sunset. After the sunset, at dusk, enjoy the illuminated views of Jelgava city on the Lielupe and Driksa rivers.
The trip takes place from Kauguri ponds in Ozolnieki along the Iecava River to Lielupe and further along the Lielupe river to Jelgava.
There will be two rest breaks – watching the sunset and visiting the Jelgava observation tower.

The route is easy, with a gentle current, suitable for beginners and families with children.
The route is navigable throughout the whole season.
