Description
The confluence of Iecava into the Lielupe is special – in the distance, you can see the landscape of Jelgava, on the opposite bank is the tip of Pilssala and the mouth of the Driksa into the Lielupe, and looking westward, you can see the vast plains of Zemgale, which are perfect for watching the sunset. After watching the sunset, during twilight, we will enjoy the illuminated views of Jelgava in the Lielupe and Driksa rivers.
The trip takes place from Kauguri ponds in Ozolnieki along the Iecava River to Lielupe and further along the Lielupe river to Jelgava.
There will be two rest breaks – watching the sunset and visiting the Jelgava observation tower.

The route is easy, with a gentle current, suitable for beginners and families with children.
The route is navigable throughout the whole season.
