Do you want an interesting and unforgettable adventure? Take your friends or family and join us on a trip in the river Bērze from Dobele to Miltiņi!
Bērze is a river with character and definitely sets its own rules, and paddlers just have to go with the flow. We will paddle along the fastest-flowing stretch of the Bērze river!
The journey will begin at the Dobele Hydroelectric Power Plant dam, located opposite the “Chemical Plant Spodrība,” and will end at Miltiņi, by Miltiņkrogs, where you can replenish after the trip.
The first kilometers of the river will be calmer, but then it becomes swifter as it winds through Ķestermežs – there, the riverbanks are unusually steep in some places. Further on, we will reach Parūķi Mill – nowadays, only the ruins of the mill walls on the left bank of the Bērze and the collapsed dam remain. If the water level will be high enough, we’ll experience some more extreme sensations as we navigate through the ruins of the collapsed dam. After that, the river with its moderate stream will lead us all the way to Miltiņi.
The route is of moderate difficulty due to currents and possible fallen trees, and may not be suitable for inexperienced paddlers.

Good to know!
– After registration you will receive a confirmation email, but no later than the day before the trip
(by 12:00), you will receive detailed trip information. (Don’t forget to check your spam folder!)
– 1 rest break on the riverbank is planned
– The trip may be canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions or if fewer than 4 boats have registered.
– The price includes transportation for drivers (1 driver/person per boat).
Registration is recommended at least 48 hours before the trip. Why? So we can plan the total number of boats and the required equipment.

IF I HAVE REGISTERED, BUT CANNOT ATTEND?
If, due to various circumstances, you cannot make it to the trip:
- you can exchange it for another trip on one of the available dates if you notify us at least 48h before the trip.
- if less than 48h remain before the trip or if you do not show up, the opportunity to reschedule to another date will be lost!
