Description
One journey – four different rivers around Jelgava: Vircava, Lielupe, Driksa and Iecava!
The start of the trip is on the Iecava river, along which we will travel to its tip in Lielupe. Iecava is the largest right tributary of the Lielupe. The end of Pilssala and the Driksa estuary in Lielupe can be seen there.
Next, enjoying the expanses of Lielupe, we will take a boat to the Pilssala observation tower. The tower offers a view of Jelgava and the meadows of the Lielupe floodplain, and there is also a great chance of meeting wild horses.
After that, we will enter the Driksa river and cross the Pilssala channel and go back to Lielupi via Driksa, along which we will sail to the Vircavas river, where we will reach the finish point at the Zemnieka cienasts.
