Description
The Love island is the place where, according to legends, the soldiers of Daugavgrīva Fortress used to take the fishermen’s daughters of Bolderāja on romantic love adventures.
The Love island in the estuary of the Buļļupe River is a mysterious, rarely visited place and requires a boat to get to. The island has three shores – on the banks of the Buļlu River, the Loču Channel and the Daugava. The Daugava bank is the most spectacular and sandy, and there is also a small bird and landscape observation tower nearby.
The boat trip will take place from the Daugavgrīva beach by the Buļļupe river around the Love island with disembarkation and a visit to the birdwatching tower!
