Description
Misa near Dalbe throws curves and invites you to join along! In this section, Misa is interesting and exciting, with green, overgrown shores that, as you approach Ozolnieki, gradually change to more residential development. In one of the bends along the shore, there is a hidden abandoned Lada car, but at the confluence of the Misa in Iecava, remnants of Napoleon’s era fortifications are hidden along the shore – Silgrauži redoubt. During the halfway point of the journey, there is a goat farm called Līcīši, where a rest break is planned with a tour* and goat milk and cheese tasting.
The final stretch of the journey goes up the Iecava river to the finish line in Ozolnieki.
