Experience the most beautiful landscapes of Zemgale and paddle in the place where the Lielupe river is born!
There’s nothing more beautiful than enjoying nature’s views on the most classic and scenic route along the Lielupe river.
The boat trip from Mūsa to Mežotne is a scenic adventure that takes you through the ancient valley of the Lielupe river. Along the route, we’ll pass the point where the Mūsa and Mēmele rivers merge to form the Lielupe, and enjoy views of the Bauska and Mežotne castle mounds.

Good to know!
- After registration, you will receive a confirmation email, no later than the day before the trip
(by 12:00), you will receive detailed trip information. (Don’t forget to check your spam folder!) - A sunrise-watching break on the water is planned (feel free to bring tea and snacks).
- The trip may be rescheduled (to another date) due to unfavorable weather conditions.
- Public transportation is not available to this location.
Registration is recommended at least 48 hours before the trip. Why? So we can plan the total number of boats and the required equipment. If you want to sign up at the last minute, it’s better to give us a call first!
IF I HAVE REGISTERED, BUT CANNOT ATTEND?
If, due to various circumstances, you cannot make it to the trip:
- You can switch to another trip on one of the available dates (if there is a free spot), provided you notify us at least 48 hours before the trip.
- if less than 48h remain before the trip or if you do not show up, the opportunity to reschedule to another date will be lost!
