If you’re more of an evening and romantic kind of person, you’ll like the sunset on the boat better. Sunset offers a wonderful opportunity to watch the sun descend over the horizon, colouring the sky in warmer shades and creative hues. They are like paintings of nature, slowly changing and blurring, taking your breath away.
Unless it’s a cloudy day, sunsets in the bog always work! But if it has rained during the day, as the evening clears and the sun sets, the haze rises from the pine-covered islands of the bog! Truly romantic and beautiful!
At the eastern edge of the Great Kemeri Bog, during the Soviet era, a peat quarry was started. However, after the year 2000, when a bog restoration project was implemented, it was flooded. In the flooded area, a labyrinth of channels and small lakes has formed, creating a unique and unusual landscape.

INFORMATION:
1) The route is easy, with very little current, suitable for beginners and families with children.
2) You will receive an informative email from Ozolaivas the day before the trip, before 19:00!
3) The trip may be canceled due to adverse weather conditions or if fewer than 3 boats have registered!
4) One rest break is scheduled (snacks and drinks must be provided by participants themselves).
